Do I need to visit a dentist even though my teeth feel and look fine?

Visiting the dentist is vital even if your teeth appear fine and healthy. It is common for dental problems to arise even if they are not seen or felt. Our dentists recommend regular visits, at least twice a year, to eliminate the need for future treatments.

Why is it so important to visit my dentist?

Keeping your gums and teeth clean and healthy ensures good overall health. Studies have shown a number of health issues can be traced back to poor oral hygiene. Visiting your dentist frequently allows them to catch issues early one.

How should I take care of my oral health between my dental visits?

Good brushing and flossing habits are essential to having healthy teeth and gums. A healthy diet is also very beneficial.

Do root canals hurt?

Root canals are a common procedure we provide our patients. Our dentists provide root canal patients with the proper anesthesia to avoid unneeded pain. Your dentist will completely numb the affected area for your comfort. It is normal, however, to experience slight pain and discomfort in the days that follow your procedure.

Do tooth extractions hurt?

Similar to root canals, our dentists will provide you with the appropriate anesthesia to avoid any pain you may experience. Discomfort and swelling are also to be expected in the days that follow the procedure.
